Something Done

By Cameron Taylor

Notes
a warm breeze,
A memory of home.
A moment unbeguiled
by the infinite loop.
You carry with you the feeling of life
In its purest
Away from the war

A life adorned with the lives of many
Stars earned walking on red
Showing face while all around
Faces yell for attention
And flashes capture souls
Taking trials and tribulations
In service of a friend
That doesn’t yet exist
But in a moment
A lulled silence
A hand lifted
And an entire being shifts
Blessing lives with lives
For them to learn without learning.
A gift.
For which countless are yearning.

A life well lived living lives
But to me your value lies
in that of no recompense
With just the moments in between.
The stage of your existence
