What About Him?!

Welcome!
This page is me to you!
I’m Cameron!
I do a lot of things. Hopefully, one of them sparked your interest and brought you here. If not, you might be in the wrong place—but feel free to drop me a message anyway.
I’d love to meet you.
I’m a clown. More in a ‘lifetime pursuit” way than a tax paying way. It’s my north star. It bleeds into everything I do.
It melts?
Joy, creativity, play and capturing beautiful moments.

Clown
First stop on the page: my true love. Australia doesn’t seem to have a strong clowning history so I’ve done a short write-up [here]. If you clicked and it didn’t take you anywhere, it’s probably because I haven’t written, published, or even thought about it since mentioning it. Feel free to message me about it. If you clicked it and ended up somewhere else, well, I’m not sure who I’m talking to anymore. I’ll also write about The Feast of Fools [here] – it’ll be great. Message about that too.
My highlights reel: I’m on the books with Cirque Du Soleil, toured Australia as my character PISCA (yes, the duck in the pictures), and clowned in Il Trovatore at the Sydney Opera House.

Academia
So, I emailed the APA (American Psychological Association) and they referred to me as Dr. Taylor. Naturally, I’m now on a mission to live up to that title. My journey in psychology has been focused on gaining the knowledge necessary to publish an article on creativity – because, frankly, the academics got it wrong.
You can find my model [here] which I recently presented at The Creativity Conference at South Oregon University.
Many things have drawn me in, but mostly that clowning and academia are a funny combo.

Keynote Speaking – Creativity & Innovation
As a keynote speaker, I bring a unique blend of creativity, innovation, and psychological insight to the stage.
My aim is to create experiences that ignite new ideas, inspire creative thinking and challenge the status quo. Whilst also allowing my audience to revel in their own ridiculousness!
Whether I’m addressing a room full of industry leaders or a team looking to unlock their creative potential, I make it my mission to connect on a personal level, leaving audiences not just informed, but transformed.
Creative Things
Photography
My late granddad, Peter Altham, was a wedding photographer, working alongside my grandma, Rayma. When Pop passed away, my brother and I went through his old negatives and discovered something that has stayed with me. Each roll of film held the weddings they captured—beautiful life memories frozen in time. But at the end of each roll, whenever there was a spare frame, Pop would take a photo of something that caught his eye in that moment. A moment of whimsy, beauty, or just his unique perspective. It was like seeing the world through his eyes.
Now, you can see through mine.
Poetry
My poetry has lived in dusty notebooks for what feels like millennia. I love them there—private and safe from the critical eye of, well, probably no one. But after years of championing the work of my incredibly talented friends, publicly touting the value of sharing your creative work with the world, here I am. And if you’re reading this, here you are.
I hope you find solace in my words, or maybe something else. Hopefully, you find something. Disgust is better than apathy.
Pottery
Pottery was my sourdough during the pandemic—all-consuming and obsessive.
I learned the craft at a 24-hour studio in Perth, Western Australia, one of the few places in the world that stayed relatively normal throughout. The swipe access was perfect for my ADHD hyper fixation spirals. I’d meet my brothers at ridiculous hours of the night with beers and clay in hand.
Now, it’s my “muggle job” between gigs. I teach at a few studios around Australia—my upcoming schedule will be [here], and I sell my work [here].
