A “Now” page tells you what a person is focused on at this point in their life. This is where I’m at now.

Crazy first six months of the year to be had.
January I directed a play ‘KITTY LITTER’ in Melbourne. A hilarious new Australian work by Hamish Johnston that was recieved incredibly well.
I’m about to leave the house to go to the theatre for the second performance of my NIDA Masters grad show ‘The Birds’ a new original musical by myself and Otto Zagala.
Then on Sunday I fly out to London to shadow Matthew Warchus on Pride the musical at the National Theatre and then One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest at The Old Vic directed by Clint Dyer.
Then early May I fly to China to perform with Slava in Slavas Snow Show! A life long dream! If you dont know Slava, he’s a great Russian Clown philosopher! This is a great video
I’m looking forward to…
Getting to clown for a month with a bunch of Russians in the middle of China!

Discovering The Clown – The Funny Book Of Good Acting
This is such a beautifully written book. I’m about to enter quite a few spaces where my clown should be taking the lead, so I’m trying to absorb some wisdom from the great fools haha

One of the characters of BIRDS follows a fools journey (Major Arcana Tarot) so I’m diving into jungian theories surrounding integration of inner child and archetypes.

Built Up Notes
Sandro : Raw : Steppenwolf
I went to The Strand in new york and I found a massive coffee table book of photos of all of the Steppenwolf creators.
If you dont know, Steppenwolf is often touted as the greatest theatre company of the past 10 years. Find them HERE.
The book is limited edition, signed, and feels like a relic of theatre culture.
Kolbe A Index – This is a psych evaluation that looks at your natural ways of taking action. It was brought up in ADHD 2.0 (book) as we tend to take action in different ways to the general populus. This evaluation helps you figure out what your action style is, how you can utelize it and how you can communicate and counter those that appose your natural style. It’s a wonderful assesment.
Jacques Lecoq – “The Moving Body”
I recently directed a work by Yasmina Reza (“Art”), and she originally trained as an actor under Lecoq. I dived into the Lecoq theory to see if I could use it within the rehearsal room for “Art” and it aligned perfectly. Key life focus’ I’ve taken away –
Complicité (kom-plee-see-tay) A deep, intuitive connection between performers, built on trust and shared energy.
Disponibilité (dis-pon-ee-bee-lee-tay) An actor’s full openness and readiness to respond to the ever-changing moment.
Le Jeu (luh zhuh) The spirit of play that brings joy, spontaneity, and discovery to performance.
